Founded in 2009, GBL Mechanical Inc began as a small team specializing in custom, high-end homes. Our early work included plumbing, heating, radiant heating, and snow-melt systems, establishing a foundation of careful workmanship, technical expertise, and dependable service.

Since then, we have grown into a team of more than 65 experienced plumbers in the field, supported by eight office professionals at our headquarters. Together, our field and office teams coordinate projects, manage demanding schedules, and provide the support needed to carry each job from planning through completion.

Our work has expanded to include large multifamily developments accommodating 250–500 residents or more, along with schools and rehabilitation centers throughout New York City, New Jersey, and Connecticut. These projects require plumbing and heating systems capable of serving hundreds of people reliably, with careful planning and coordination throughout installation. As projects have grown in size and complexity, we have remained committed to the care and attention that shaped our earliest work.

That same commitment extends beyond our job sites. When our crews completed projects efficiently and had time available between assignments, our founder recognized an opportunity to help neighbors facing essential plumbing and heating needs. Rather than let that expertise sit idle, he created the GBL Mechanical Inc Give Back Program.

The idea was straightforward: if an elderly neighbor needed a toilet repaired or someone was without heat in the winter, we could put our skills to use where they mattered. Our founder has always believed that everyone deserves safe, reliable plumbing and heating, regardless of their circumstances.

Today, that belief remains part of who we are. Our Give Back Program reflects a sincere commitment to kindness, dignity, and community—using our experience to make everyday life safer and more comfortable for those who need a helping hand.
